A Full Home Inspection is a thorough and methodical visual inspection of a home's structural, mechanical and safety components and systems, and a written report of the observed conditions. A Full Home Inspection includes a Pest a Wood Rot Inspection,(see below). The report includes a description of the observed conditions along with photos of most deficiencies that are reported on. The inspection includes the foundation, framing, roofing, exterior finishes, exterior water control systems and drainage, doors and windows, interior finishes, insulation and thermal barriers, porches, decks, stairs and rails, safety alarms, plumbing and water heating, heating and air conditioning, electrical service and distribution, ventilation systems, kitchen appliances, and garage systems.
An inspection normally takes about two and a half to three hours on site. We typically use a tablet computer for the inspection with a comprehensive and detailed report generating program. Photos of defects are included and incorporated into the text. Reports are normally e-mailed the same day as the inspection was performed. A hard copy can be mailed if needed. Follow-up phone calls for further information and clarification are encouraged.
